Christmas Decor 12/14/2009
 Here are the first Christmas decorations up in our apartment. We are getting into the spirit of the holiday. How about you? The Vintage Ornaments (medium, Real Red #117971) are from the Decor Elements line of Stampin'Up! They make stunning decorations on mirrors, smooth walls, windows and glass frames.  This was created in response to Pals Paper Arts weekly challenge, http://www.palspaperarts.com/. I used My Digital Studio (#118108) to create this card, since I don't have the Circle Circus stamp set. It was inspired Denise January's card that was showcased on http://www.stampinpretty.com/2009/06/guest-stamper-and-sneak-peek-circle-circus.html. I am now certified on My Digital Studio.   This was created using WELCOME Decor Elements in white, medium size (15 1/8"x2 1/8") item # 114750. I painted the wooden plaque with white garden paint tinted with Night of Navy ink refill (#103033). Then applied the Welcome phrase using the Decor Elements Applicator (#114285). I sealed it with ployurethane, since is is hanging on my door outside and I want to be able to change the holiday motifs. The snowflakes were made with the Snowflakes set #2 sizzlits (#113449) and Decor Elements sheets in white (#114335) and the Sizzix Big Shot (#113429). More detailed pictures are below.  Here is a file cabinet that contains my Stampin'Up! cardstock and forms before it is decorated. It is plain and boring. Using Eastern Blooms small Decor Elements in black (#116085) and medium Create Definition in White (#114139). Then I used punches with Decor Elements sheets in White (#114335) and pink (Provo Craft). Punches used Butterly (#116629) and 5-Petal Flower (#109041). To decorate and add Wow to the file cabinet. I left space to add Inspire definition. Check back to see the finished project in January.
