I created the first two cards to swap at convention. The third card was created at convention with the set that I won! This quick and easy card is created with the new Elegant Lines embossing folder on Concord Crush cardstock. It is highlighted with Frost White Shimmer Paint #116854 using an Aqua Painter. Doesn't that add a nice accent? The images are stamped with new In Color Concord Crush ink on Whisper White cardstock using Fine Flourish #115709 and punched out with the Butterfly Extra-Large punch #119848 and the greeting is from Perfect Punches #117022 in clear mount and punched with 2" x 1-3/8" Oval Extra-Large #119859. See rhinestone detail below, you get 150 Basic Rhinestones for $4.95 (# 119246) , 50 ea. in 3 sizes: 5 mm, 4 mm, & 3 mm. Adorned with Concord Crush 1/2" stitched-poly ribbon #119266. Watercolor card using Awash with Flowers set #117062 wood mount and #120549 clear mount. Stamped with Stazon water-proof ink on Watercolor Paper (20) #105019. Other cardstock includes Basic Grey, Cherry Cobbler and Riding Hood Red. The ribbon is retired Riding Hood Red strips, there are other colors in the current catalog. This card uses the Paisley Prints and Seasonal Sentiments #120821 from the upcoming Holiday Mini stamp set. I got these sets during the Stampin'Up! convention. What FUN! This quick and easy card was stamped with Cherry Cobbler on Whisper White Cardstock, punched with Full Heart Extra-Large #119883 punch. Accented with Concord Crush cardstock and Concord Crush 1/2" stitched-poly ribbon #119266. Do you struggle to find the right colors to put together? Here is the bag that we got at convention, plus three great stamp sets and a wheel. I would love to share all the new techniques and ideas with you. The great thing about creating your own gift items is that you can make matching cards. Yesterday I posted anniversary frames that I made. Today are the cards that match. They are gate fold cards that use the Night & Day and Cast a Spell Designer Series Papers, which are still available for as downloads for My Digital Studio. Several Punches: Scallop trim border, 1 3/4" circle and Jewelry Tag. The new Clearlit die. Let me know what you think!
Are you looking for a quick and easy gift? Don't know what to buy? Make it yourself! This was so much fun to create. Start with a plain, unpainted wood frame and paint it white. Use texture paint and Mostly Vintage Decor Stencil to add depth and texture. Once it is dry, sponge silver ink through stencil onto raised image. Use Artistic Etchings with black and silver ink to stamp on the frame. I used My Digital Studio to create the Happy Anniversary inserts. Do you want to see the latest in paper crafting, jewelry and home decor? Contact me to get a new catalog! Here is a bracelet that I created with grungeboard and Sizzix Daisy Flowers #2 and Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. The board is coated with white acrylic paint, then sponged with Rich Razleberry ink and spritzed with Silver Foil Smooch Spritz. The center of the flower is a Rhinestone Brad! Let me know what you think of this. |
